WALK-IN WELLNESS/PREVENTATIVE CARE: We offer weekly walk-in wellness hours for Preventative Care. No appointments necessary during these hours. For a weekly schedule, visit our website and click “Hours of Operation.” However, please always double check our Facebook page for unexpected closures.
Preventative Care = Vaccinations, Heartworm 4DX testing, FeLV/FIV testing, Flea/tick & Heartworm prevention, deworming, nail trims, anal gland expressions, ear cleanings, and Microchips! Preventative Care does NOT include Health Exams/Sick Visits with the Veterinarian.
SCHEDULING A HEALTH EXAM/SICK VISIT: If your pet needs a Health Exam with the Veterinarian, you must schedule an appointment by sending an email with your contact information (name, phone number, home address) with a brief description of why your pet needs to be seen. Someone will contact you as soon as possible to schedule, however, please keep in mind that we book about 3 weeks in advance at this time, but we will try our best to work you in sooner if we can. Health Exam appointments are only available in the afternoons after 1:30pm. We perform surgeries in the mornings.
Please note, we are NOT a full-service hospital. We are not equipped to handle urgent medical/emergency care or manage major injuries/illnesses that require continuous care and/or hospitalization. We do not have x-rays or ultrasounds and we do not offer dental cleanings/extractions.
REFILL A PRESCRIPTION: In order to be more efficient, we do ask that you call or email us in advance when you need to refill a prescription for your pet. Please keep in mind, all patients must be seen at least once annually to maintain VCR (vet-client relationship) in order to refill prescriptions. Note: Certain medications may require an exam every 3-6 months.
